1. Editorial Independence Statement
At BCN Network, we maintain a strict separation between our advertising sales and our editorial team. Our journalists and editors make content decisions based solely on news value, public interest, and truth. No advertiser, sponsor, or business partner has any influence, veto power, or preview rights over BCN's news articles, investigative reports, or editorial opinions.
2. Sponsored Content Disclosures
To prevent readers from being misled, we clearly label all content that is paid for or sponsored by a third-party brand:
- "Sponsored Content" / "Advertorial": Content that is paid for by an advertiser and created in collaboration with BCN's commercial team is prominently labeled at the top of the article.
- "Supported By" / "Brought to You By": Editorial content funded by a sponsor, but written entirely independently by BCN's editorial desk, is marked to show the funding source without compromising editorial control.
3. Advertisement Guidelines
We accept display advertisements (via networks like Google AdSense, programmatic ads, and direct sales) under the following conditions:
- Non-Intrusive Placement: We ensure that ads do not obstruct our readers reading experience or interfere with website accessibility.
- Prohibited Categories: We strictly do not accept ads promoting illegal goods, hate speech, pornography, online gambling, weapons, scam schemes, or misleading medical treatments.
- Distinction: Ads will always be visually distinct from news text using clear boundaries and the "Advertisement" tag.
4. Affiliate Disclosure Policy
Some of our shopping recommendations, product reviews, or book lists may contain affiliate links. If a reader clicks on an affiliate link and makes a purchase, BCN Network may earn a small referral commission at no additional cost to the reader. Any article containing affiliate links will display a clear disclosure statement at the top.
5. Ad Quality Feedback
If you encounter an intrusive, offensive, or broken advertisement on our website, please report it to our team at ads@bcnnetwork.in so that we can take prompt corrective action.
